If a member of my family is having a medical emergency that requires EMS, when do the charges begin?

The charge starts from the moment you are transported to a hospital.

We currently have 9 First Responders, 15 EMT'S, and 1 Paramedic

Are U-Turns legal downtown?

U-Turns are prohibited downtown with the exception of the 5th & Linden intersection.

Can I put out big items in the trash?

Does the city rent trash carts and dumpsters?

What options do I have if I can't pay my water bill?

Come in to the city building and sign a "Promise to Pay" contract.  This will give you an approximate 10 day extension. 

How many "Promise to Pay" contracts can I sign in a year?

Three, but not two, in back-to-back months.

What do I need to do if I want to build a fence?

Come to the City Building and fill out a permit.  The Zoning Administrator will then meet with you and let you know about other requirements.

If dogs-at-large are picked up, how long are they typically held?

Three days, that is why it is important to have your dog tagged.
